Dear photographers, writers, and Film-makers
We are so excited to announce the first part of our 2025 Photography Workshops Program (from January to August). This upcoming year is going to be very special: More than 5 senior photographers, writers, and Film-makers have already showed interests in in taking part in this years programs.

Everyday Kibera.Net is a weekly news network from Kibera founded by Gordwin Odhiambo, a civic centric reporting on truthful, and, realities on the ground. The media team is comprised of proffessionally trained Journalists and photojournalists mostly from the Kibera Documentary Center's instituion. Everyday.

Kibera.Net is part of a project for the Constructive Journalism Fellowship by DW Akademie.

In collaboration with Rapid Eye Development from the UK, London, the Kibera Documentary Center will be holding classes on a new course for B&W Film Processing and Printing. You will also explore your creative potential and become proficient in hand-printing techniques in both color and black and white during the sessions.

With the surge in numbers on the programs we do, we'll hold an event with community and expert stakeholders for an opportunity to present a proposal for a construction of Kibera Documentary Center. We are an ambitious team, as we continue to grow, we'll not allow anyone (students/trainees) to miss any opportunity we offer as a result of lack of space.
