Kibera Documentary Center relies on your donations to amplify the voices of photographers, artists and thinkers who strive to make a difference in the community. Our activities are currently, primarily, run through volunteering and good faith from people around us who are willing to share their expertise, time and resources to keep our programs going.
Our donation plans are geared towards owning our own centre of resources in the next few years; this is due to the rapid growth around some of our programs and activities. We also encourage equipment donation of any sort. Some of the enthuasistic upcoming storytellers lack tools to effectively carry out their mentorship projects hence the support.
